Ryanair cheap flights from Copenhagen - Increased low fares airline competition in Copenhagen

Ryanair opened their low fares flights from Copenhagen some time ago and that has substantially increased competition on danish cheap flights market. Ryanair is now flying direct flights from Copenhagen Kastrup to Belgium, Germany, Hungary, Ireland, Italy, Lithuania, Poland, Portugal, Spain, Sweden and United Kingdom (see full list of routes at the end of this posting).

Couple of years ago Copenhagen Kastrup airport was not the place where you could find cheapest flights in Europe but now it is. If I look at the Skyscanner cheapest flights from Copenhagen hear are some examples (prices are one way ticket including taxes but not possible extra fees for booked seats or luggages):
  • Copenhagen - London Luton (Ryanair): 2€!!, only if you fly Saturday January 16th 2016 but below 10€ prices are available for many days
  • Copenhagen - Brussels Charleroi (Ryanair): 2!!, only if you fly on certain dates in January (15.5, 24.1 or 30.1) but 10€ flights are available much more
  • Copenhagen - Stockholm Skavsta (Ryanair): 10€ many days if you book now for early 2016
  • Copenhagen - Cologne (Ryanair): 10€ tickets available for many days
  • Copenhagen - Berlin Schönefeld (Easyjet): 20€ tickets available for many days
I could continue the list of below 25€ one way tickets full day but I think you got the point. Even if you are one of those people who don't want to fly Ryanair you must be thankful to them. Thanks to Ryanair Easyjet and Norwegian have also decreased their prices and started more intense competition in Copenhagen.
